Jennifer Pike and Tom Poster are two of these and are appearing in aid of the Great St Mary's Development Appeal on Friday 23 November. Jennifer was the youngest ever winner of the BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2002, at the ripe old age of 12. Musically she has continued to develop and amaze, helped, she believes by the 1712 Geefriller violin and Yehudi Menuhin's favourite Voirin bow, acquired for her by Cambridge's own Stradivarius Trust. Tom Poster, after a double first in music at King's College, went on to win the Scottish International Piano Competition and is a well-known  performer at the BBC Proms. Recently he was also a BBC presenter at the Leeds International Piano Competition. Both have volunteered their time and talent in support of the Great St Mary's Church Development Appeal. A key destination for tourists and visitors to Cambridge, the building requires adaptation to cater both for these and its varied work in the town and university.
