New Fulbright professor announced

Professor Mark Macgowan, an expert in social work research, has been appointed as the next Fulbright-Scotland Visiting Professor at the University of Edinburgh. During the six month exchange, Professor Macgowan of Florida International University will undertake a research project to understand methods of group work in social work education. He will be based in the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities, and will work closely with Social Work academics in Social and Political Science and Counselling colleagues in the School of Health. Professor Macgowan has significant links with social work faculty at Edinburgh.
