New music proposals in Els Vespres d’Hivern

The Els Vespres d'Hivern are back. The UB brings back its support for emerging artists. Once again, culture and music meet in the heart of the UB: the concerts of this cycle, projects with personality and with a great artistic value, will take place in the Paranimph of the Historical Building, one of the most spectacular rooms in this city. We will enjoy the fresh scene of Flamenco Queer, the folk by the Irish Brigid Mae Power, simple songs by Maria Hein and the piano brought by Nil Ciuró, proposals that go over the folklore roots and update it with a feminist view. The program is brought by the cooperative L'Afluent, which is also in charge of the artistic direction of Barcelona Acció Musical (BAM) during La Mercè. These concerts keep the risky, open and cross-sectional spirit of the cycle, whose success regarding attendance in previous editions makes it clear that it has become an unmissable date in the city, and it broadens its view with the incorporation of the content curator team. The concerts, which are free, will take place on Fridays during February, in the evening.
