New partnership for transformative research

Durham University has announced a new strategic partnership with the Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) which could transform the way research is developed into marketable products in industries including health and personal care. Durham University and CPI, a leading technology innovation centre which supports the UK process manufacturing industry, have formalised their working relationship with the aim of seeking out new opportunities for collaboration, funding and training. Research and innovation excellence The partnership brings together Durham's research excellence in areas such as chemistry, biology, physics and engineering with the translational expertise of the CPI - part of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult. Together Durham University and CPI will provide the knowledge, know-how and facilities to enable research to be developed and translated into market-ready products, helping companies to accelerate product development, supporting new innovative companies to grow, and attracting investment from national and international sources.
