Perspectives for reinforcing scientific cooperations

Pr SHI Zhengli, scientific director at the Wuhan Institute of Virology at Chinese Academy of Sciences (WIV) visited the International Center for Research in Infectiology at ENS de Lyon (CIRI) on September 24, 2019. It has been the occasion for fruitful discussions on "perspectives for reinforcing scientific cooperations" in the field of infectious diseases. The scientific presentations were particularly focused on research on Henipavirus, Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever and Lassa mammarenavirus, followed by exchanges on possible bridges between Institut Pasteur Shanghai (IPS), CIRI and WIV as well as exchanges on: Development and reinforcement of current projects Further projects and collaborations Encourage mobility (staff, research, post-docs and PhD) Financing opportunities Office of International Affairs - Mail: international.strategy@ens-lyon.fr
