Public health under the microscope at Durham University Durham University joined forces with leading think tank Demos to bring together experts to discuss the issue of public health inequalities. The debate was a curtain raiser for a larger programme of engagement between the University's Wolfson Research Institute for Health & Wellbeing and Demos on the theme of public health and, in 2014, on education. Professor Clare Bambra, Director of Durham University's Wolfson Research Institute for Health & Wellbeing, described the joint event as "a great success." The debate, held at the Lindisfarne Centre at St Aidan's College, Durham University, was entitled "Grimmer Up North?
