Forty percent say they open it every day. At least three-quarters of readers feel the eNews does an "excellent" or "good" job of meeting its editorial objectives, especially highlighting the impact Stanford scholars have on the world. Invitations to participate in the survey were mailed at random to a sample of 4,792 staff, faculty, postdocs and emeriti who receive the Stanford Report .
