Rugby team to face Brazil
The University rugby team is set to play one of its toughest-ever fixtures - away against the Brazilian national side. The team will face Brazil, who are ranked 28th in the world, in Sao Paolo on 4 June. The match will be broadcast live on Brazilian television. The game is the first in the University team's four-match tour of the South American country. Edinburgh will also play Brazil under-23s and a regional select side, and will meet the national team again on 17 June. The tour comes 25 years after the University team last toured Brazil. The match has been arranged to help promote rugby in the South American country ahead of the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, in which rugby sevens will be included for the first time.
