Würzburg University expresses its solidarity with Ukraine and Ukrainian universities. (Image: Daniel Peter / Uni Würzburg) 02/24/2022 - The University of Würzburg cooperates with universities in Ukraine and Russia. The university management is thus following the current developments in Ukraine with great concern. "Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg is appalled by Russia's unjustified military attack against Ukraine. We are deeply concerned about the humanitarian, political and economic consequences that this attack has and will have for Ukraine, but also for all of us. Our particular concern is for the students, academic colleagues and alumni of JMU at the Ukrainian universities. JMU has maintained close contacts with Ukraine for years, including with Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
