Philipp Bless and Claudia Schmutz were awarded with this years SSPH+ award for the best published PhD article in Public Health for their paper published last July in the European Journal of Epidemiology. They demonstrated that meat fondue with chicken is one of the primary risk factors for a campylobacter infection in Switzerland. Philippe Bless and Claudia Schmutz contributed equally to this paper.
