Term 3 guidance from the UK Government
The UK Government has confirmed that all students who have not yet returned to campus-based teaching will be able to do so from step 3 of the roadmap, no earlier than 17 May 2021. This week, the Government announced that all remaining higher education students can return to in-person teaching no earlier than 17 May, in line with step 3 of the national roadmap to ease lockdown restrictions. The Government has confirmed that students should remain where they are to continue with their studies and not return to term time accommodation before their face-to-face teaching resumes unless they have mental health or wellbeing challenges impacting on their ability to study successfully. Your department will let you know when in-person teaching restarts for your programme. While you are studying remotely , all your core teaching will continue to take place online, including lectures, tutorials, seminars and assessments. By 'core teaching' we mean everything you need to learn to complete the module successfully. Some students are already on campus (including those on exempt practical programmes, those who are unable to study remotely due to personal circumstances, and Postgraduate Research students who require specialist facilities).
