Termin - In its "Munich Talks" series, the Bavarian School of Public Policy (HfP) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) establishes a public forum for the discussion of current political developments with guests from politics and science. Two experts will analyze the situation of the European Union at the inaugural events of the new series: Andrew Moravcsik, Professor at Princeton University, will speak on February 17, while José Manuel D. Barroso, former President of the European Commission, will be featured at the HfP on July 13. Prof. Andrew Moravcsik: 'The End of the EU' Liberal Intergovernmentalism in the Context of Current Crises?. Andrew Moravcsik is considered the founder of and one of the most important voices behind the theory of Liberal Intergovernmentalism. His research is primarily concerned with European integration, human rights and international relations. Moravcsik is Professor of Politics and Public Affairs and the Director of the European Union Program at Princeton University; he is also a fellow of the Brookings Institution. Moravcsik has first-hand experience in politics, as well: He has already worked on behalf of the US and South Korean governments and for the EU Commission.
