Angharad joined UCL in 2009 and has served as Director of Development since 2019, leading on the development and successful delivery of the It's All Academic Campaign, which closed last year after exceeding its targets of £600m and 250,000 volunteer hours. A prominent figure in the international advancement sector, she is particularly expert in developing major gift programmes, legacy fundraising and securing complex seven and eight figure gifts. Welcoming the appointment, UCL President & Provost Dr Michael Spence said:   "Angharad has an impressive track record in advancement and is renowned for her passion for the power of philanthropy, and the impact of an engaged community on the life of a university. She has already demonstrated tremendous leadership within UCL's advancement office and I'm delighted she will take up the role of Vice-President and bring her expertise and insight to UCL's leadership team."   Prior to joining UCL, Angharad worked within the charity sector, including on the NSPCC's Full Stop Campaign, which was the largest charity fundraising campaign of its time.
