Black History Month 2023 Black History Month takes place every October and there's plenty of free talks, seminars and social events taking place at UCL. Black History Month is a time to uncover, recognise and celebrate the invaluable contributions of black people to British society. This year's theme, 'Saluting our Sisters', places the focus on black women, whose achievements have too often been overlooked or forgotten.
