UCL’s medical illustrators scoop awards
UCL's Advanced Information Services Centre (AISC) Medical Illustration Group has brought home a raft of the Institute of Medical Illustrators? (IMI) annual awards. The UCL winners were as follows: Elaine Hanna, David Bishop and Andrew Gardner (UCL Royal Free Hospital) won the overall Graphics Prize and an IMI Gold Award for the UCL Medical School Guide for Prospective Students . David Bishop and Rakhee Bashar (UCL Royal Free Hospital) won an IMI Gold Award for the Royal Free NHS Trust Annual Review . John Volcano (UCL Institute of Child Health) won an IMI Gold Award and the top photographic award for his photograph of an eye condition entitled 'Morning Glory'. David Smithson (UCL Institute of Child Health) won an IMI Silver Award for Patient information for his poster 'What do our Uniform Colours Mean'? - UCL context:.
