Social Enterprises are being encouraged to seize a rare opportunity to get sound financial specialist advice at a one-off free event in Plymouth on Monday 29 April. Money Talks – unlocking social investment will offer a range of informative workshops with the latest guidance and tips from respected key note speakers and experts from across the finance sector. Highlights of the packed all day event programme at Plymouth University Rolle building include: Key note speakers Seb Elsworth, Director of Partnerships and at Social Investment Business and Keith Starling, Big Society Capital Chief Financial Officer. A choice of workshops running from 11.45am before a complementary buffet lunch from 12.45pm. Presentations from finance sector specialists including Fredericks Foundation, Charity Bank Ltd, People Fund it, and Santander Corporate and Commercial Banking. Funded by the European Regional Development Fund, this event is free of charge. It starts with registration at 9.30am and a welcome by Deputy Vice Chancellor of Plymouth University Professor Raymond Playford at 10am.
