The department of Computer Science and Engineering is a fully integrated department with the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology as principles. The department offer courses in a broad range of subjects. For the academic year 2026/2027 the department of Computer Science and Engineering is looking for amanuens that have a strong interest in our academic areas Computer network and systems, Computer science, Data science and AI, Interaction design and Software Engineering and are interested in passing on their knowledge to others. Job assignmentsAs amanuens/teaching assistant, you will have work tasks within teaching and/or administration. In your application you will be able to show interest in a specific academic area and/or a track with courses. QualificationsTo be qualified for the position you are an active student at University of Gothenburg or Chalmers University of Technology during the employment period, preferably studying in one of the institution’s BSc or MSc level programmes. To be qualified for the position you should have good knowledge in English, both spoken and written. To be able to complete your work as amanuens you need to be in Gothenburg, Sweden and perform work tasks at campus Johanneberg or campus Lindholmen. It is a merit if you have experience of teaching and are skilled in instructing and helping people in a pedagogical way. Assessment criteriaWe will assess your academic achievements and abilities that are important for the job. It is important that you can communicate well, collaborate, inspire and engage students and that you take responsibility for your work.
