Description of the workplaceThe Department of Electrical and Information Technology at The Faculty of Engineering, LTH, Lund University is one of the larger departments with around 120 employees. The department consists of four divisions and a group of technical and administrative staff. We are situated in the E- building at LTH’s campus in the north of Lund, but we also have teaching activities at campus Helsingborg.We will now employ 7-8 teaching assistants for work with teaching activities during study period 4. Work dutiesAs a teaching assistant, your duties may vary and the duties should provide an insight into the academic world at the faculty where you are studying.You will primarily assist in the teaching of the courses at the department, as well as assist the course responsible teacher with related tasks, as in grading hand-in assignments, question hours, course development and other administration depending on the actual needs. The teaching assistants are needed for the following courses:

Further informationThe position is a fixed term position for the period March 23 - May 29, 2026, at between 5-30 per cent of full time by agreement.The position may not negatively affect the teaching assistants studies and may not be combined with other employments. The employment as a Teaching Assistant is regulated in the Higher Education Ordinance (SFS 2017:284), 5 chapter 8-12 §§. The employment is covered by the "Working time agreement for teachers".
