About the job We are looking for up to 10 teaching assistants (amanuenses), who, when needed and agreed upon, will assist course leaders in their teaching activities. Teaching assignments may include teaching lessons, supervising in the computer lab or during laboratory exercises, and other tasks, including correcting reports, quizzes, etc. About you To be employed as an amanuensis, you must have been admitted to a university education at the undergraduate or graduate level. It is a requirement for the assignment that you have passed relevant courses given by the Division of Applied Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics at LiU (or equivalent at other universities). The tasks are varied and may arise at short notice, which requires flexibility and that you are available at the university. The merits of this employment are that you can demonstrate documented good subject knowledge that the current courses cover, as well as if you have previous teaching experience. You must also be responsible, meticulous, have pedagogical skills and be interested in the subject area. It is also advantageous if you are available for teaching assignments during the spring of 2026. Your workplace You will work at the Division of Applied Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics, which is connected to the Department of Management and Engineering (IEI) and the Faculty of Science and Engineering (LiTH). The division offers a wide range of courses at both undergraduate and advanced levels in several degree programs at Linköping University (LiU). About the employment A position as an amanuensis is regulated in Chapter 5 of the Higher Education Ordinance. Scope and access according to agreement.
