2010 Summer School opens - 05 Jul 2010, PR 150/10 The 2010 King's College London Summer School opens today, welcoming students from over 40 countries and representing over 200 universities from across the globe. This year King's also welcomes its first Summer School exchange students from its global partners: the University of Hong Kong and Renmin University of China, the University of Sao Paulo and the National University of Singapore. The Summer School students will study a range of undergraduate level courses that reflect the academic strengths of King's whilst at the same time offering a fresh approach to the study of these subjects. The programme offers more than 20 academic courses in fields such as Education, History, Languages, Law, Literature, Management, Arts & Cultural Studies, Politics & International Relations. The programme builds upon the College's central London location and its strong links with cultural and creative industries in London, offering a unique academic experience for the students. Ian Fielding, Summer School Programme Manager, said: 'We are pleased to be welcoming so many students to the College this year.
