Call for participants - Autism study

Study: are school results of children with autism influenced by languages, emotions, and social skills? For children on the autism spectrum, school grades do not always reflect their true potential. Dr. Andreia Costa and M. Sc. Maïte Franco , from the University of Luxembourg, are leading a project involving children on the autism spectrum in order to understand what impact social skills, emotions, multilingualism and the use of language can have on their cognition and academic performance. This study aims to understand different factors that may determine why some children on the autism spectrum succeed in school while others, despite their intellectual ability, have struggles to navigate the education system. The findings of this study aim to be used as a basis for improving and developing methods of school support for children on the autism spectrum. Call for participants. The two researchers from the University of Luxembourg are thus looking for children on the autism spectrum (Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger's Syndrome, Pervasive developmental disorder, etc.) attending a primary school in Luxembourg to participate in this project.
