Six exceptional graduating PhD students have been chosen to share about their academic journey filled with innovation, resilience and passion. Read their stories below. Faculty of Arts. Christin Wright-Taylor ( PhD '22) knew she wanted to pursue her Doctor of Philosophy in English at Waterloo because of its reputation of being one of the leading Canadian universities with a PhD program in Composition and Rhetoric. "You know your scholarly mentors are rockstars when you hear their work being cited by keynote speakers at every major conference you attend," Wright-Taylor says.
