Chercheurs à l’École’ 2022 Programme

The University of Luxembourg participates in the 2022 edition of "Chercheurs à l'Ecole- taking place this year from Monday 14 to Friday 18 March. Organised by the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR), -Chercheurs à l'école- brings together local researchers (having obtained or preparing their PhDs) with secondary school students in the various high schools and secondary education institutions across Luxembourg. For the 12^th year, researchers of all scientific disciplines will be given a special occasion to unfold, in front of high-school students, their life experience from being a student to becoming a researcher. These personal encounters give teenagers a special opportunity to ask questions on the motivations in becoming a scientist. Researchers can share their passion with future students and bring up the challenges and opportunities of a career in research and benefit from a platform to present their work to young people and get immediate feedback. As in previous years, researchers from all the University's faculties and interdisciplinary centres will actively participate in this edition and meet with high school students in various cities in Luxembourg, to share with the younger generations what motivates them in working for research in Luxembourg.
