In three interdisciplinary, intercultural groups of three to four students each, they worked together on their projects on the topic and learned with and from each other from different professional cultural perspectives. In preparation, they had initially met virtually since March. The Enlight network brings together students from the nine universities of Göttingen, Ghent, Groningen, Uppsala and Tartu, the University of the Basque Country, the Universities of Bordeaux and Galway and Comenius University Bratislava to build global competencies in intercultural, interdisciplinary teams and to work on complex issues related to sustainability from different European perspectives. The Global Engagement Module supports students from different subjects and from different universities in the network to acquire global competences. Based on topics that the Enlight network is working on, such as Health and Well-being, Digital Revolution and Impact of Digitization, Climate Change, Energy and Circular Economy, and Equity, students work on issues around current global challenges on these topics in seminars.
