Concentrated competence in battery management: Vitesco Technologies France cooperates with CEA

Toulouse, June 13, 2023 - After three years of research and development, Vitesco Technologies, a leading international provider of modern powertrain technologies and electric mobility solutions, presents the first outcome of its partnership with the CEA (Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives) in France: Together they have developed a -switched battery" (SWIBA) management technology that further improves the overall performance of the powertrain of electric vehicles by increasing their range and reducing their fast charge time, while optimizing the cost of charging, and increasing the life of the battery. The second life of the battery is also facilitated. The battery is the key and most expensive element of electric vehicles. Great progress is being made every day on cell technology.
