Innovative ideas wanted: canton supports pilot projects in the areas of climate and energy

In cooperation with the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, the canton of Lucerne supports committed companies, organizations, start-ups or municipalities in initiating and implementing pilot projects in the areas of climate protection, climate adaptation or energy. An independent jury of experts assesses the projects submitted. The most convincing submissions receive financial support from the canton of Lucerne. The total funding amount for 2024 is CHF 300,000. Applications will be accepted from January to the end of May 2024. The canton of Lucerne is pursuing the climate protection goal of 'net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050' and is simultaneously taking measures to adapt to changing climatic conditions. Furthermore, energy efficiency is to be increased and more energy is to be obtained from renewable sources.
