International two-year master’s expanded

International two-year master's expanded. Aug 2010, PR 166/10 King's is expanding its range of two-year international master's programmes. These programmes provide a structured pathway into graduate degrees at the College for students wishing to study in the School of Arts & Humanities, the School of Biomedical & Health Sciences and the Departments of Geography, War Studies and Political Economy within the School of Social Science & Public Policy. The programmes are the result of collaboration between the above Schools and the English Language Centre and aim to attract the best and the brightest international students to King's graduate programmes. The first year of the programme results in the award of a graduate diploma and combines study in the student's chosen academic specialism with development of key academic English, analytical and research skills. Successful students then progress directly onto their chosen graduate area of study in the second year. Professor Roger Morris, Head of the School of Biomedical & Health Sciences, comments: ' This programme has allowed us to open up our graduate programmes to a wider range of talented international students.
