Nominees for the UvA Thesis Prize 2022

The seven faculty winners of the UvA Thesis Prize 2022 have been chosen. They were nominated by the reading committees of the seven participating faculties and each win 1,000 euros. They also compete for the main prize: 3,000 euro for the best thesis of the University of Amsterdam in the academic year 2021-2022. The prizes will be awarded on Tuesday 28 June 2022 at 17.30 hrs at SPUI25. Declan Blom on behalf of Economics & Business Administration with his thesis entitled: Building a supervised prediction model for case law on the at arm's length determination of loans. Ahsan Hussain on behalf of the Faculty of Dentistry (ACTA) with his thesis entitled: Effect of a sodium hypochlorite mouthwash on plaque and clinical parameters of periodontal disease - a systematic review. Oliviero Nardi on behalf of the Faculty of Science with his thesis entitled: A Graph-Based Algorithm for the Automated Justification of Collective Decisions.
