Get paid writing as a Student Journalist! As part of ongoing work around energy efficiency and building usage, a further set of adjustments to building opening times is due to come into effect this Friday, 11 August. This work has focussed on buildings with low out of hours occupancy and is one of a number of initiatives aiming to address recent significant increases in UCL's energy costs. As such, it supports financial sustainability in the context of the Strategic Plan, as well as our commitment to reducing operational carbon emissions. After an extended period of consultation involving our FM colleagues, Directors of Operations, and a variety of building users/ managers, the following timings have been agreed: Revised building opening times.
