Rachel Wan
Rachel Wan - This week we meet Rachel, who is currently studying Biomedical Engineering at UCL. Here, she chats to us about joining Engineers Without Borders as an Outreach Officer and shares a tip for earning some extra money alongside your studies. What are you studying, why are you interested in this subject and what do you plan to do in the future?. I study Biomedical Engineering at the Department of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering. The idea of making a huge impact in transforming healthcare affirmed my interest in medical innovation and it is indeed something I would love to contribute to in the future. Problem solving has always interested me, especially when it comes to problems that are related to medical technology, as innovations in this field can lead to tangible improvements in the lives of many people. In terms of the future, to be honest I'm not very certain.
