The three Sisters in Science: Lotte Schreuders, Mimi den Uijl and Noor Abdulhussain. PhD students Mimi den Uijl and Noor Abdulhussain of the Van 't Hoff Institute for Molecular Sciences together with junior lecturer Lotte Schreuders of the College of Sciences launched the Instagram account SistersinScience_NL. There has been quite some media attention for this initiative. Now, the three chemists can also be seen on Dutch television in the show Anna's Brains. The popular science program Anna's Brains will be broadcasted weekly on NPO3 at 20:25, starting 30 August. In the program, presenter Anna Gimbrere (also an alumna of the UvA Faculty of Science) tackles complicated scientific questions with 'Brains' (experts). Den Uijl, Abdulhussain and Schreuders fulfill the role of three 'Brains'.
