WWU - Stabsstelle Arbeits- und Umweltschutz There may be unexploded bombs from the Second World War under the cathedral square. On Friday morning, 28 February, two suspected sites will be uncovered and, if necessary, defused by explosive ordnance disposal. There are numerous university facilities in the vicinity of the site. In order to provide the best possible protection for teachers, students and employees, WWU is setting up an evacuation radius of 500 metres around the site. The radius includes the Fürstenberghaus with the Archaeological Museum, the Bible Museum, the Juridicum, the University and State Library, the Bispinghof and the House of the Netherlands.
