SussexFood support local social enterprise charity, Team Domenica. SussexFood are always looking for new ways they can support local initiatives and the community. An exciting new venture they've become part of this year is the Team Domenica project, supporting young people with learning disabilities. Team Domenica strives to teach valuable skills and give young adults work experience that will prove invaluable in their future careers. Back in November 2016, Charlie and Gemma joined the team at SussexFood. Charlie has been getting stuck in in the kitchen learning the baking trade, while Gemma has been front of house experiencing every part of a catering assistant's day from clearing tables to serving customers. Team Domenica works on the value that "everybody needs to be valued and everyone has the potential to give something back".
