UCL at COP16

Today is 'Health Day' at COP16, the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Cancun, Mexico, and delegates and negotiators are being briefed by UCL. A briefing paper based on the report of the 2009 UCL'Lancet Commission on Managing the Health Effects of Climate is being distributed by members of the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations. Professor Hugh Montgomery (UCL Medicine) organised the briefing and was a co-author of the report. The briefing is endorsed by the Climate & Health Council, Health Care Without Harm and the Health & Environment Alliance.
