Universities of Birmingham and Manipal partner in new educational initiative

The University of Birmingham and Manipal University in India have signed an agreement this month formalising educational links between the two institutions. The partnership will enable students to complete their first two years of study at Manipal then progress directly into year two at Birmingham. The agreement specifically caters for engineering and physical sciences students who have successfully completed the first two academic years at Manipal in either Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Upon successful completion of two further years at Birmingham, students will be awarded a degree by the University of Birmingham.
