Ulm University Hospital is the youngest of Baden-Württemberg’s university hospitals. In the 38 years of its history, it has established a firm place for itself in university patient care, research and teaching. Today it is impossible to imagine the medical and scientific map of the region and the state without it. With 29 clinics and 15 institutes, it offers inpatient and outpatient care of the highest standard to patients in the region and beyond. Every year, around 50,000 patients are treated as inpatients at the University Hospital. In addition, there are almost 300,000 quarterly outpatient cases. In 2012, the hospital opened a state-of-the-art complex for the surgical clinics and dermatology - and for maximum quality and comfort for our patients. Around 6,000 employees work here and at the other sites of the University Hospital to ensure that we can provide cutting-edge university medicine.
