Additional places in the Bachelor of Social Work programme at FH Salzburg
Salzburg University of Applied Sciences (FH Salzburg) is expanding its degree programme in the field of social work. From autumn 2025, students will be able to complete the Bachelor's degree programme full-time as well as part-time. Also new from autumn 2025: the option to specialise in 'Digital Social Work'.

A recent survey carried out by the Zielgruppen Büro confirms the positive image: in addition to the good popularity ratings in the province of Salzburg, the practice-oriented degree programmes, the excellent career opportunities, the modern infrastructure and the training opportunities in future-relevant areas are particularly emphasised. 1,000 16- to 65-year-olds from Salzburg, Upper Austria, Tyrol, Carinthia and Bavaria were surveyed.

Students on the bachelor's degree programme in Design and Product Management at Campus Kuchl had the unique opportunity to put their knowledge directly into practice as part of their studies: In teams, they developed the brand strategy and concrete implementation proposals for three promising Salzburg start-ups.

Residual material or resource? How waste becomes valuable raw materials
The exhibition 'Circular Materials - raw material or waste material'' at the Architekturhaus Salzburg focuses on the great potential of natural resources. Specific examples show how the 'material cycle' can be closed and sustainable production made possible. The exhibition by the Department of Design & Green Engineering at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, which opened on 14 November, will be on display until February 2025.
Successful premiere of the International Summer School at the FH Salzburg
From 30 June to 5 July 2024, the 26th International Summer School took place for the first time at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences and brought together almost 40 students from the Croix Rouge Française (France), the Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences and the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences.
