University of Warwick Campus, Coventry Department Physics Position Type Permanent Salary £26,707 to £30,378 per annum About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to join the professional services team in the Department of Physics at the University of Warwick. We are seeking to appoint a Senior HR assistant to work closely with the Administrative Officer (HR) to deliver an efficient and effective HR service to the department, and act as a first point of contact for line managers and employees for all HR matters. You will be one of two Senior HR Assistants providing support to the department. Your duties will include administrative support and diary management for the Head of Department. You will also provide cover when the HR Administrator is absent. Informal Queries

About You We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who can liaise effectively with all levels of staff and external candidates. You will have a proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships. You will be highly organised and be able to prioritise your own workload while working independently and as part of the wider professional services team. You will have experience of working in a HR or an administrative environment, preferably within Higher Education. You will be experienced in managing a diverse workload and filtering demands on the time of senior staff. You will have excellent IT skills, with a good working experience of Microsoft Office packages and a proven ability to quickly learn and use new IT systems. Full training will be provided as appropriate. Whilst training you will be expected work full time on campus.
