This varied role sits at the heart of doctoral education, helping deliver an exceptional experience for students from recruitment through to graduation and academic placement. You’ll work closely with academics and professional services colleagues to coordinate programme operations, student administration, events, and key data reporting. If you’re highly organised, collaborative, and motivated by supporting cutting-edge research and the next generation of scholars, this is an opportunity to play a vital role in one of the UK’s leading research environments.

About You

The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing a varied workload in a busy academic environment. You will have strong administrative and coordination skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to build effective relationships with academic staff, students, and professional services colleagues. Confident working with data and systems, you will be able to monitor processes, maintain accurate records, and support reporting requirements. You will also bring sound judgement, clear communication skills, and a collaborative approach, with a genuine interest in supporting doctoral researchers and contributing to the smooth running of a complex programme.
