Missing: Lukas Burger (Schübeler lab) About Michael Stadler After earning a PhD in Immunology from the University of Bern, Switzerland, Michael worked as a postdoc at the University of Bern and the MIT in Cambridge, USA. He joined the FMI in 2006 as Head of Computational Biology, a position he still holds today. Michael has a special status of ‘FMI staff scientist’, meaning that he can pursue independent research within the FMI and with external collaborators. Since 2011, Michael has also been a group leader at the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (SIB).
